Do Not Speed
In addition to being illegal and dangerous, not obeying the speed
limit can cost you big.
Most rental cars have a "black box". One student looked at his
charge bill and found an unauthorized charge from a car rental
company. He fought it but lost. The "black box" registered him as
speeding and the $450 charge was allowed by the agreement. This is
more common than you think.
Reminders:
YOUR SPEEDOMETER MAY BE INACCURATE.
IF YOU DRIVE IN CANADA, GET A SPECIAL INSURANCE CARD FROM YOUR
COMPANY OR YOU MAY NOT BE COVERED. (ONLY A FEW DOLLARS).
